The
Newbury Chamber Choir is a group with up to 40 active members and
performs major concerts with an orchestra three or four times a
year in the Newbury area. Our main focus is European sacred choral music but we do like to
explore other composers from different periods. We usually perform in
the original language, which can be interesting and challenging!
Our Musical Directoris
Edward Lambert, a professional choral trainer and composer who joined us
in September 2002.
The choir has its own chamber organ.
We encourage local young instrumentalists by bringing them into the
orchestra for our concerts. |
